Diana Melencio, a partner at XRC Labs, a New York-based venture fund and startup accelerator, is expanding her efforts to support emerging retail and beauty startups. Primarily, Diana Melencio’s fund concentrates on supporting consumer goods and retail technology. The fund made investments in some of the famous names in the industries, such as The Lobby, Billie, Caraa, and Wear. Diana Melencio sees a massive opportunity in these underrepresented brands and further plans to support consumer retail and healthcare. She has founded two firms, one of which received an investment from XRC Labs. Previously, Melencio ran WISE Ventures, an investment fund.
