After postponing its show on the Queen’s death, Burberry scheduled it for Monday at a warehouse in Bermondsey. A piece of music by the composer Paul Mealor was performed by the soprano Nadine Sierra and the London Contemporary Orchestra. Designer Riccardo Tisci stood out with his high-gothic Victoriana of long, intricate lace dresses and the bold, surreal streetwear of inflatable rucksacks and garish sweatshirts. Tisci has completed his five-year tenure, bringing in a more youthful audience to the brand. There is some speculation about the young British designer, Daniel Lee, replacing him.
