Curated Loop aims to be a fashion rental platform that also reduces waste, targeting Gen Zs

Curated Loop, a rental business, is acquiring statement items from independent designers’ sample stock in order to position itself as a more edgy alternative to more traditional competitors. Items for rent on its marketplace may be one-of-a-kind (samples) or from an indie designer’s previous season’s collection (dead stock).

Curated Loop, a new P2P fashion rental business aimed at the younger generation (Millennials, Gen Z), was co-founded by Anna Caldana and Rachel McLuckie. They’re starting with a per-transaction charge as their business plan. According to the company, their focus on dead stock and dead stock aids in the reduction of textile waste. Curated Loop’s curated marketplace offers everything from dresses and skirts to shirts, trousers, coats, and suits for rent.
