The director of CVS Health, Krystal Walker, in conversation with Insider Intelligence, talks about their one of its kind Skin Care Centers, a skincare-focused CVS Pharmacy’s initiative that offers personalised advisory services from aestheticians and employs advanced tools to help individuals. Upon being asked about how this store is more engaging for people, Walker replied that the hiring of medical aestheticians who offer personalised treatment, implementation of advanced tools, and partnership with L’Oréal has allowed them to be so well-equipped as to offer a more engaging experience to individuals. Walker says that the purpose is to help people find the most well-suited products from a skincare aisle that is teeming with different brands. Moreover, Skin Care Centers do not forget to consider the underserved population that cannot reach out to dermatologists. Focusing on equity, CVS Health has created MinuteClinics and Health HUBs. CVS Health’s director believes that customised skincare will become important for the customers. Therefore, as for the service providers, it is essential to remain relevant while also adding innovation as per the consumer demand.
