Last year, Gucci’s virtual Dionysus handbag was sold for around $4,115. Moreover, on Roblox, Gucci has been selling its items for around 475 Robux, which is the equivalent of $6 in real life. Balenciaga, on the other hand, has been selling skins on Fortnite, while Ralph Lauren launched a digital clothing line on Zepeto, a South Korean platform. With these purchases, it can be seen that people put just as much importance on virtual products as on physical ones.
