Mango is shedding transparency on its supply chain by publishing open data

Mango offered an open spreadsheet of its third-tier manufacturers. Presently, this amount of transparency is fairly radical in the fashion business, which navigates convoluted supply chains and has been dogged by a lengthy list of environmental and social problems for decades. It revealed information about its Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, which were all unfolded as part of its sustainability activities. According to the brand, it was the first to publish each of the tier rankings in Spain. Mango works with around 2,400 manufacturers, each of which is included in its spreadsheet along with the location and nation in which it is located. Turkey has the most manufacturing factories for Mango (663), then China (651), India (214), Spain (169), and Italy (150).
