Millennial brands are bringing back ‘90s style’ because Gen Z loves it too!

‘90s aesthetics are once again in style as TikTok and Instagram gush over flared pants and shoulder bags with celebrities and influencers, such as Hailey Bieber and J.Lo, embracing them.

Bebe, Converse, and Delias are examples of some of the brands that are bringing back nostalgia for Millennials and have a great market of Gen Z consumers. The Y2K trend is one part of the macro fashion trend that is flourishing. Brands are hiring individuals who are reinventing the ’90s and ’00s aesthetics. People who wanted to buy from the said brands a decade ago have now been hired by them to reinvent the style they loved, says a senior beauty writer, Amanda Mitchell.
