According to a recent Centra study, Millennial and Gen Z customers are leading the way when it comes to purchasing fashion in the metaverse. According to a survey of over 2,000 UK buyers, just 9% of Britishers across all age brackets had purchased fashion in the metaverse, with Millennials and Gen Z driving the demand.

Centra discovered that one-fifth (21%) of Millennials and 19% of Gen Z customers had previously purchased a fashion NFT or digital fashion asset. Almost two-fifths (38%) of those who purchased a fashion NFT did so because they thought it would be a good investment, peaking at 46 percent of Gen Z buyers.
