Outform unveils digital mannequins to enhance in-store shopping experiences

Outform has introduced the Digital Mannequin, an interactive, visual merchandising platform that allows consumers to choose products to see and how they are represented in-store using their cellphones. It is intended to assist both the buyer and the store by providing a more personalised experience with a variety of models representing various races and body shapes, as well as a frictionless route from discovery to purchase. It also allows businesses to collect in-store data such as content preferences and session length to better analyse audience behaviour. According to Outform’s worldwide survey, 64% of consumers are currently using their phones in-store, and 63% desire more interactive digital experiences.
