According to Piper Sandler’s 44th semi-annual “Taking Stock With Teens” study, Amazon continued to be the preferred online retailer for teens, while Shein firmly established itself as the number two option. About 52% of the 14,500 youths participating in the poll from 47 states named Amazon as their preferred e-commerce site. The top four brands are Shein (8%), Nike (6%) and Lululemon (4%) respectively. Shein is included among the top apparel brands as well, ranking fifth with 4%. The top four brands on the list are Nike (31%), Lululemon (6%), American Eagle (6%), and H&M (4%) respectively. The athletic trend is still king in the clothing industry, with Nike holding fast and Lululemon reaching new heights.
