Kappahl, a prominent Swedish clothing company, has chosen the TrusTrace technology to help with its traceability initiatives. In addition to complying with laws, Kappahl intends to use the TrusTrace platform to allow greater data-driven decision-making in day-to-day operations as well as to empower customers to move toward more sustainable consumption.

Kappahl’s objective is to increase the existing 75% margin for items created with more sustainable materials to 100% by 2025. The Swedish firm also intends to cut the value chain’s carbon footprint in half by 2030. TrusTrace stated that it is a leader in fashion supply chain traceability, offering verified data in real-time as materials and completed items flow through the supply chain to more than 40 worldwide fashion and retail companies.
