Uniqlo launches Uniqlo Studio to amend pre-loved clothing items and re-sell them

Uniqlo, a Japanese casual-wear brand, has launched Uniqlo Studio in London to promote the sustainability of its clothing items by extending their use and lifespan. At Uniqlo Studio, tailors and designers will remake, offer new embroidery, stitch and alter pre-loved clothing items for customers to buy again. Designer Zeena Shah and London-based Studio Masachuka have partnered with Uniqlo to promote this initiative. Traditional crafts designs, including Japanese Sashiko, would also be available on request. The studio would also offer homeware and lifestyle products.
