The lineup for Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW), which will take place in Decentraland from March 28 to 31, has been unveiled. Several worldwide businesses will have virtual stores at the Luxury Fashion District, which is sponsored by immersive art and culture platform UNXD. The Tommy Hilfiger experience will showcase artificial intelligence (AI)-produced clothes; Dundas is collaborating with DRESSX on wearables; Dolce & Gabbana will exhibit winning Future Reward designs; and DKNY will have an art gallery, pizza, and rooftop club. Amorepacific, a Korean cosmetics company, and Ben Bridge, a US jeweller, are two new arrivals. MVFW is renewing its collaborations with digital fashion firms DRESSX and The Fabricant, Altr, COACH, Gaian, Diesel, and HAPE, as well as Winston Bartholomew Holder III, winner of HBO’s The Hype Season 2, to display a collection and showcase events, panels, and the runway. MVFW 2.0 will show the possibilities for interoperability across open metaverses with satellite runways and events in Spatial and OVER.
