Huda Kattan is a Dubai success story, having gone from beginning a beauty blog to heading one of the world’s largest cosmetics companies. Huda Beauty is celebrating ten years since the debut of its first product, Hudabeauty.com, in Dubai. Kattan launched her site HudaBeauty.com in 2010 to share her passion for cosmetics and beauty with a larger audience. She debuted her first official Huda Beauty product, a collection of artificial lashes offered at Sephora, in 2013. She began working with high-profile clientele, such as Eva Longoria, in 2014 and launched her first formal offices in 2015. Huda Beauty debuted one of its most popular products, Lip Contours, in 2016, and Kattan stated that “everything changed” and the business looked to finally have direction. Kattan founded HB Investments in 2017 to assist entrepreneurs and start-ups worldwide. Kayali, a fragrance inspired by the Middle East, was released in 2018, while Wishful skincare was released in 2020. Huda Beauty was named the world’s most in-demand beauty brand by the Cosmetify Index in 2020, beating out Anastasia Beverly Hills and Mac Cosmetics.
